Before you can create a channel, you need a Google Account. If you already have one, great just sign in.

i.                Go to Youtube.com

ii.              Click the sign In button at the top right

iii.            Enter your Google account email and password

2.    Create Your Channel

Once You’re Signed in:

i.                Click your profile picture in the top right corner

ii.              Select Create a Channel

iii.            Choose whether you want to use your name or a custom brand name(a custom name is better for businesses or unique content)

iv.            Click Create Channel

Congratulations you officially have your Youtube Channel .

3.    Customize your Channel

Your Channel is your online stage, so make it look professional.

i.                Profile Picture: Use a Clear, high-quality image or logo

ii.              Banner Image: Add a Cover photo that matches your theme (2560  1440 pixels is recommended

iii.            About Section: Write a short description about your channel- What viewers can expect and why they should subscribe

iv.            Links: Add links to your website, Instagram, or other social media account

4.   Upload Your First Video

i.                Click the Create button (Camera icon with a plus sign) in the top right

ii.              Select Upload video

iii.            Choose your video file, add a title, description, and tags

iv.           Select a thumbnail (Custom images get more clicks)

v.          Choose your Privacy setting (Public, Unlisted or Private)

vi.            Click Publish

5.   Optimize for Search

If you want people to actually find your videos, you need to think about Youtube SEO.

i.                Use keywords in your title and Description

ii.              Add relevant tags

iii.           Write engaging description

iv.    Add subtitles for better reach
